About
Written from inside the edit, not from a press release.
davinciresolve21.com is an independent blog about DaVinci Resolve 21. We cover what's new in each release, what broke, how to fix it, and whether upgrading is worth it. Every claim comes from cutting real projects, and when we haven't tested something, we say so.
It's written by Marius Manolachi and the team behind TryUncle, a macOS app with an AI tutor that teaches Resolve on your own screen. Building a Resolve teaching tool means we spend all day watching where editors actually get stuck — that experience is where these articles come from, and yes, it's also why you'll see TryUncle recommended around the site. We keep the two honest: the answer always comes first, the pitch after.
Editorial standards
- Timings and benchmarks are from our own machines, specs stated.
- Every post shows its publish and update dates, and the Resolve version it was tested on.
- Corrections are welcome and get fixed fast: hello@tryuncle.com.
